Phil

Phil is lead vocalist for the band and he also considers himself to be lead tambourine player, which no one disputes. Phil has been singing in bands and duos since the early eighties and has played in numerous venues throughout Queensland and Northern NSW.

The highlight of Phil’s career includes supporting English band Sweet at Seagull’s Leagues Club on their Australian tour and Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows at Twin Towns. Phil has also been involved in writing and recording original material which has received favourable reviews from many sources including the collators of  FM104 (MMM) Homegrown Album.

Phil’s distinctive and quality vocal ability enable him to cover a range of artists from Jimmy Barnes, The Counting Crows, Billy Idol, to The Doobie Brothers and Robbie Williams. Phil’s vocals together with his harmonies on numbers that Chris sings give the band a real edge.

Phil is a master at “working” the crowd and is in his element when the punters are reacting full-on to what the band is doing on stage.
